BRIDAL FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS
1. Why should I hire a makeup artist?
You’ve gone through the time and effort of hiring a team of professionals for your wedding, so why not hire a professional makeup artist for your makeup as well? It’s not only less stressful, but your makeup artist will have the training and knowledge to make sure your makeup stays on all day and night. It’s one less thing you’ll have to worry about.
2. What is your pricing?
Click on the link to see my packages and pricing! This sometimes varies based on each client’s situation so if you provide me with all of the details, I can provide you with an accurate price. Please fill out my contact form for specifics.
3. What type of makeup do you specialize in?
I specialize in natural glam makeup….so what does this mean? This is for the brides that want to look like a slightly enhanced version of themselves! I can definitely go full glam if you’d like, but I LOVE the more minimal lit from within classical bridal looks :) The majority of my brides either never wear makeup or wear very minimal and I like to give them the absolute best experience I possibly can (especially if this is their first time getting their makeup professionally done!). I strive to create the ultimate luxury makeup experience for my brides :)

4. Do you travel and what are your travel fees?
Absolutely! I am a 100% mobile makeup artist so I can travel anywhere you need me to! A travel fee may apply if the booking is outside of my travel perimeter which is 25kms from Wallan, Victoria.
For my travel fee, I include 50kms round trip from Wallan, Victoria to the getting ready location and then it’s $1 per km over that 50 km. Please calculate this if you have a wedding that requires travel. I never want my brides to be sticker shocked if the travel fee is outside of their budget.
5.What is a bridal preview and when should I book it?
Bridal previews are a great way to “preview” your wedding day look so you get the look that you envision for your big day! I want to make sure that the day runs as smooth as possible and having a preview eliminates a lot of stress and scheduling issues. Plus, it also gives us a chance to meet before the big day :) I include the preview in my packages since they are such an important part of your bridal makeup experience!
I typically book the previews about 1 or 2 months before the wedding date. Yes, you may be thinking that this is too late, however . . .it’s actually for your benefit! If you book the preview too far out, you may change your mind several times in regards to your bridal look which normally leads to a second preview as well as more occurring costs. Also, as an artist, I am always constantly revamping and changing my kit with new products so the things I have in my kit at the time of the preview may not be the same as your wedding date if we do it too far in advance.
6. How far in advance should I book my wedding? What are your booking policies?
I can book out as far as you wish :) On average, my client’s usually book with me about 6-8 months out, but I would say that as soon as you know when your wedding is and the location, I would book it! Ever since 2020 weddings have gotten rescheduled, I’ve seen a HUGE influx of weddings in 2022 so if you want a certain wedding vendor, start reaching out to them for your date :)
Your date is not officially booked until I receive a deposit amount (portrait) or 50% retainer (bridal package). This will officially secure your date and the remaining balance will be due on the wedding date. Due to high demand for certain dates, I cannot reserve dates based on previous conversations.
7.Do you offer airbrush makeup?
No, I do not. In my opinion, airbrushing is just another application tool such as a brush or a sponge. Contrary to popular belief, airbrush is also not ideal for all skin types, especially those with more dry or mature skin.
When traditional makeup is done in the correct way, you will not be able to tell a difference between the two forms of applications. I use sheer to medium coverage foundations so it will not feel heavy or cakey on the skin. It is also very high quality and extremely long lasting and I have never had an issue with it not lasting the entirety of a bride’s wedding day.
8.How long does it normally take you for each application?
Basic package: 3 hours for hair and make up (bride only)
Luxury package: 4 hours for hair and make up (bride only)
The time slots also include my clean up and sanitation in between each client as well! I like to make sure that I can fully provide the highest quality of work possible for each person.
9.What makeup products/brands do you use?
I strive to create the ultimate luxury bridal experience so with that comes luxury products! I use all higher end brands such as MAC, Charlotte Tilbury, Hourglass, NARS, Tarte, Anastasia Beverley Hills, Huda Beauty, Inglot , Laura Mercier, Make Up Forever, Paint Box Cosmetics ,Estee Lauder, Too Faced, Morphe, Bobbi Brown, Smashbox, etc.
10.Can you accommodate larger bridal parties?
I will do the best I can to accommodate you and your bridal party. However, due to me being a solo artist, I may not be able to accommodate over a certain amount of people due to timing. If you book far enough in advance, I will do my best to recruit a secondary artist to assist me with your bridal party! Having a secondary artist ensures that everyone’s makeup is completed on time. I never like to compromise quality for quantity!
